Game theory through StarCraft

Errata

Corrections to the lectures, to the numbers on the uploads, and to us. Dated, credited, and never quietly edited away.

The short version

  • Two of the five uploads carry the wrong lecture number. We use the class's numbering and say so everywhere.
  • One reel plays out of order. We play it in the order it was taught.
  • The 2009 boards have arithmetic slips in them. We print the board as written, then the correction.
  • When we get something wrong, it lands here with a date and your name on it.
  • Nothing on this site is silently edited. A page that gets corrected links to its entry.

This page exists because of a decision: these pages publish as finished work with no draft label. That only works if the correction path is public and real. So every fix goes here, ours included, and the page it corrects points at the entry.

Send a correction through the contact page. If you are right you get the credit line.

Open questions

These are printed as open because the house rule is that a page does not ship with a hidden unknown in it. If you can close one, you get the entry.

Corrections from readers

Nothing here yet. This section is the point of the page, so it should not stay empty.

If you spot a bad timestamp, a misspelled handle, a number that does not survive checking, or a claim we have stated more confidently than the evidence allows, send it through the contact page. Corrections get a dated entry with your credit, and the page they fix links back here.

How we label things, so you can hold us to it

If a page carries a claim you cannot trace to one of those five, that is itself a correction worth sending.
